Users of the Recommendations do not necessarily understand the significance of this asterisk after the proper shipping name, because the explanation is given only at the beginning of the table and not as a footnote. The asterisk itself is not part of the proper shipping name. When amendments to the Recommendations are proposed, the asterisk is easily forgotten and it is difficult for editorial reasons to ensure the accuracy of the text when the publication is prepared.
