New CD-ROM with games for all ages
marks 25th anniversary of UN flagship air pollution treaty


Geneva, 1 December 2004 - To mark the 25th anniversary of its Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in cooperation with the Government of Switzerland is releasing a new CD-ROM with interactive games that make learning about the UN and what it does to prevent air pollution exciting and fun.

There are four types of games to choose from:

  • Mission Seagull: a change of air – English, French, German, Russian, Spanish
  • Discover the air convention and have fun! – English, French, Russian
  • The air pollution puzzle (2 levels)
  • Memory (2 levels)

“Mission Seagull” has been commissioned by the Swiss Government and developed with the help of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the Governments of Austria and Norway.
