The Steering Committee elected Mr. Marian Hantak (Slovakia) as the new TEM Project Manager for the period 2002 – 2003.

The Committee was also informed on the intention of the Italian authorities to launch an International Transport Center in Trieste for the support of the development of multimodal transport infrastructure in the region and the Croatian proposal for the development of the Adriatic – Ionian Corridor, connecting Trieste/Italy (in the north) with Kalamata/Greece (in the south) via Slovenia, Croatia, Yugoslavia, Albania.
