Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers Drafting Group

of the draft PRTR Protocol to assist the working group on PRTRs in its

financial basis for the core activities under the Convention on Long-range
Transboundary Air Pollution, Parties have engaged in a negotiation on
an instrument to share the international coordinating cost of these
activities. The meeting will negotiate on a preliminary
draft protocol on long-term financing of core activities under the Convention
on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution, aiming at resolving the few
issues still outstanding. It will prepare, as an alternative,
a draft decision and recommendation that would facilitate voluntary
financing.

The GRSG 82nd session of the body subsidiary to the World Forum for Harmonization
