The EMEP Strategy 2000-2009

The Strategy for EMEP 2000-2009 was adopted by the Executive Body at its eighteenth session to serve better the new emphasis in work under the Convention, following the adoption of the Aarhus Protocols on Heavy Metals and Persistent Organic Pollutants in 1998 and of the Gothenburg Protocol in 1999. The Strategy also forms the basis for the planning of concrete annual action-oriented work-plans.
