Submission by Ukraine having concerns about Romania’s compliance with its obligations under the Convention, with respect to inland waterways in the Romanian Sector of the Danube Delta which permit the passage of vessels of over 1,350 tons.

At its 16th session (10-12 March 2009), the Implementation Committee agreed to consider the submission at its 17th session, held in Geneva on 14-18 September 2009 (ECE/MP.EIA/IC/2009/4). The Committee finalized its findings and recommendations further to the submission at its 18th session, 23-25 February 2010 (ECE/MP.EIA/IC/2010/2).
