Adobe Intelligent Document Platform Overview

Adobe Intelligent Document Platform represents a range of software products from Adobe Systems, creating, securing, and managing electronic forms and documents. Part of Adobe’s Intelligent Document Platform, the LiveCycle Designer, can be used as a forms editor to edit a document on a PC and to generate electronic documents in XML syntax. It also can connect the document to Adobe Server products. The Free Adobe Reader enables the user to receive electronic trade documents, add data and electronically sign the document without any paid software license. When connected to Adobe Server products, the free Adobe Reader extends its capabilities from viewing the document to enhanced features such as adding data and electronically signing the document.

The UNeDocs.Adobe extensions provide a document editor for the UNeDocs International Document Set (IDS) using Adobe Intelligent Documents as a software platform. The document editor includes access to international recommended code lists, help files and access to value added Web Services for trade.

UNeDocs implementers may use the UNeDocs.Adobe extension to adapt documents to national language and business requirements, to further develop software solutions, to develop value added services for the electronic trade documents and to provide user support. UNeDocs copyright Note applies and further Adobe licences may be required.
