Summary: On 24 June 2013, a member of the public, Ms. Brigitte Artmann, submitted a communication to the Compliance Committee alleging the failure of Germany to comply with its obligations under articles 1, 3, 4 and 6 of the Convention with respect to the opportunities provided to the public in Germany to participate in a transboundary environmental impact assessment procedure concerning the proposed construction of two third generation nuclear reactors at Hinkley Point C.
