Inventory of existing safety
guidelines and best practices for the prevention of
accidental transboundary water pollution
A priority in the work plan of the Joint ad hoc expert group
on on water and industrial accidents is the development
of an inventory of already existing safety guidelines/best
practices for the prevention of accidental transboundary
water pollution in order to make these guidelines/best
practices available to the competent authorities and
focal points designated under the Convention.

The information contained in the inventory
has mostly been transmitted to the secretariat by
the Parties to the Convention.
