Meetings
At
its first three meetings in 2003 (17-18 March 2003,
18-19 September 2003 and 22-23 January 2004) the
Committee focussed on elaborating its procedures
and modus operandi.
At
its fourth meeting, which took place in Geneva on
13-14 May 2004, the Committee embarked on the task
of reviewing communications from the public. At the fifth meeting (23-24 September 2004)
the Committee discussed admissibility of four new communications
as well as
issues related to its Modus Operandi.
At
its 6th meeting the Committee discussed the subject
matter of the first five communications as well
as some of the claims made in submission ACCC/S/2004/01. The Chairperson's introduction to the discussion is available here.
At its seventh meeting the Committee focused on preparation of its report to the Meeting of the Parties and finalized its decisions with regard to five communications and one submission discussed earlier.
At its eighth meeting on 22-24 May 2005 in Almaty (Kazakhstan) the Committee discussed the subject matter of communications ACCC/C/2004/06 and ACCC/C/2004/08 and determined preliminary admissibility of communications ACCC/C/2005/12 and ACCC/C/2005/13. The meeting took place back-to-back with the 2nd Meeting of the Parties to the Convention where the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Veit Koester, presented its work.
