EPE recommended changes in consumption patterns and individual lifestyles
through awareness raising, technical regulations and economic incentives.
It furthermore encouraged the integration of environmental considerations
into decision-making in all key sectors and the promotion of partnerships
between ministries, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other major
groups.
