2nd EPR of Kyrgyzstan
Pre-mission to Bishkek: In February 2008, the secretariat undertook the second review of Kyrgyzstan, following a request by the national authorities accepted by the Committee on Environmental Policy at its session in May 2007. The State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry indicated their wish that emphasis would be put on sustainable development, water, biodiversity and forest protection issues. The assessment mission will take place in end of May 2008.
The country submitted an interim implementation report (E, R) to the CEP, 29 May 2007.
