The Meeting of the Parties in its 5th session:
- Welcomed the preparation by the Government of Armenia, with the assistance of the Implementation Committee and the Convention secretariat, of draft revised legislation for the implementation of the Convention in accordance with the Committee’s findings (decision IV/2, annex II); welcomed also the draft legislation as providing a suitable framework for the implementation of the Convention in Armenia, and requested Armenia to adopt the draft legislation;
- Appreciated the reports received from the Government of Armenia further to paragraph 19 of decision IV/2.
