Review of Compliance: Implementation
Committee

The Implementation Committee was established by the Meeting of the Parties in February 2001. The Committee's objective is to review compliance by the Parties with their obligations under the Convention with a view to assisting them fully to meet their commitments.

Review of Implementation

Decision III/1 of the Meeting of the Parties (appended to the meeting report) included a summary of the 'Review of Implementation 2003' and instructed the secretariat to make available the full Review PDF (2MB).

The Meeting of the Parties decided to undertake a further review: the second review of implementation. Responses to the revised and simplified questionnaire are available here. The second review of implementation is being considered by the fourth meeting of the Parties.
