The introduction provides a brief overview of the main results and highlights of the fifth Ministerial Conference “Environment for Europe”.
The fifth Ministerial Conference “Environment for Europe”, at its conclusion on 23 May, 2003, adopted a Ministerial Declaration. This section contains the text of the Declaration and a summary of the Conference session on its consideration.
The Conference Proceedings include, in addition to the Report of the Conference and the Ministerial Declaration, all official documents presented to the Conference and speeches delivered to the Conference. The information is organized by agenda item.
Report of the Conference and List of Participants
The fifth Ministerial Conference “Environment for Europe” took place from 21 to 23 May 2003, in Kiev (Ukraine). It was attended by delegates from 51 member States of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and from a large number of United Nations organizations, other intergovernmental organizations and non - governmental organisations.
