The Committee held its special session in Astana on 20 September 2011. The main objective of the session was to consider any last-minute substantive and organizational issues that might arise for the Seventh "Environment for Europe" Ministerial Conference, held in Astana from 21 to 23 September 2011. !!! Please note the following changes to the provisional agenda:
1. The entire agenda item 2 on Environmental Performance Reviews (EPR) is being postponed to the 18th session of the CEP (Geneva, 24-27 April 2012). This change is following a communication received from the Government of Turkmenistan requesting more time for finalising all necessary internal procedures for completing its EPR.
2. At the request of the Government of Kazakhstan, the CEP is invited to consider the "Green Bridge" Partnership Programme (GBPP) presented in the document ECE/ASTANA.CONF/2011/6. !!!
