About EAD
The Economic Analysis Division
(EAD) carries out regular, comprehensive analyses
of economic developments and prospects of the ECE
region. The economic analysis is complemented by population
analysis carried out by the Population
Activities Unit of EAD. These two strands of work contribute
towards achieving the Millennium
Development Goals in the ECE region.
The results of EAD’s work are available
to the general public through a range of publications on
economics and population issues.
