Jukka Häyrynen
- Since 2012 at Tekes – Innovation Funding Agency of Finland. Currently Executive Director for Startup funding and services with a budget of 140 M€.
- Prior to Tekes Jukka was for three years the CEO of a nanotechnology startup Picodeon developing the proprietary thin film coating technology
- From 1996 to 2009 in venture capital, first less than two years in Sitra and the 11 years as a co-founder of technology venture fund manager Eqvitec.
- Before the vc-period Jukka worked at various customer service and management roles at VTT, the technical research centre of Finland.
- Jukka has an MSc in mechanical engineering as well as an MBA degree, both from Aalto University, Helsinki.
