The major objective of CECI in this thematic area is to encourage the development of entrepreneurial activities and establishment of new enterprises in the region through improved legal and regulatory frameworks, and reduced administrative barriers to entrepreneurship.

Facilitating access of enterprises to domestic and foreign finance, as well as promoting new business models and training of entrepreneurs would serve the same goal.

The entrepreneurship and enterprise development activities result in synopses of good practices and recommendations to decision-makers. To achieve its objectives, CECI organizes meetings and events drawing on the expertise of the international network of experts in the area of enterprise development.
