Carlos Sallé

From 1987 to July 1995 he worked in areas related with system operation in Red Eléctrica de España (the Spanish Transmision System Operator).
He subsequently held various positions at the first electricity regulator in Spain (Comisión del Sistema Eléctrico Nacional).
From January to April 1998 he was member of the management team in charge of launching and setting up the Market Operator Company, as Operations Manager. 
In April 1998 he returned to the electricity regulator as Market and Operation Director. After the functions of the former CNSE were integrated into the new Energy Commission (CNE), in January 2000 he was appointed Director of Electricity.
In February 2001 he joined the consultancy firm NERA (National Economic Research Associates), where he held the position of Associate Manager for the Energy Area.
In September 2001 he joined IBERDROLA Group as Regulation Director, and was later appointed as Director of Energy Policies.
He is a Member of UNECE PPP Business Advisory Board since January, 2014.
