Invitation to the private sector
"PPP Days" is the premier event in the calendar for public-private partnerships, and is being held in Europe for the first time from 21-24 February 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is expected to attract around 500 delegates from more than 60 countries. For the first time, a "Business Forum" is being held as part of "PPP Days 2012", an event being co-hosted by the World Bank Institute, United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and Asian Development Bank on Thursday 23 February in Geneva, Switzerland.
While the first two days will be largely policy focused, with attendance reserved for public officials, the "Business Forum" on the third day is intended to being together public and private sectors to share their experiences in the area of public-private partnerships. There will also be a private sector briefing session ahead of the event on the afternoon of Wednesday 22 February, and private sector delegates should aim to arrive in the afternoon around 15.30.
Around 15 countries with emerging PPP markets will be presenting upcoming policy and project pipeline developments to an audience of public and private sector participants, including financiers. There will also be networking sessions, including promotional stands where countries will be promoting their upcoming pipelines of PPP projects.
We would be delighted if you would be able to join us. You may register for this event free of charge by completing the registration form which can be downloaded from our website, and returning to PPPDays2012@unece.org.
