Hervé Richard, Director “Door to Door” SNCF, will talk on:

"SNCF as shared mobility integrator"

Short Bio

Hervé Richard, 50 years’ old, had graduated from Technological University of Compiègne, from ESSEC Business School and had a master of science from Cranfield Institute of Technology (UK).

After 4 years’ work in Air Liquide as head of studies on Cryogenics, he became engineer in charge of business in Arianespace during 5 years and responsible of launching equips in Kourou. Entered in PSA Peugeot Citroën in 1999 as responsible of economic framework of projects, he became in 2004 responsible in charge of communication and of technical secretariat of the Department of Technical Platforms and purchase. At mid-2007, he joined the Citroën brand as responsible of brand entity and launched the new image of Citroën at 9 February 2009. In July 2009, he became the director of digital marketing, services and brand image in the Department of worldwide marketing of the Brand Citroën. He launched in 2011 the startup Multicity providing offers of mobility associated with the car sharing.

 In July 2013, he entered in SNCF with objective to develop the door-to-door program, one of the three pillars of its strategic plan Excellence 2020.

 

Summary of presentation:

SNCF has invested in developing the shared mobility market and is working on expanding it. Our goal: to increase shared mobility up to 30% of all travel by 2030. To meet this target, we are positioning ourselves as a mobility integrator, while developing new mobilities that enhance our rail offer and boost all Group businesses.
