The project on the country profile of the housing sector of the Russian Federation started upon the decision of the UNECE Committee on Human Settlements at its 63rd session in September 2002. The preparatory mission to the Russian Federation took place in April 2003 and the research mission of the international team of experts was undertaken in June 2003. The international expert team worked closely together with national experts before, during and after the mission.
